Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 9 August 2026

1. About the service and these terms

Pokerverket (the “service”, “we”, “us”) is a web-based tool for planning, running and displaying live poker tournaments and cash game sessions, including tournament clock, blind structure, player management, table balancing, prize pool, big-screen display, calendar, statistics and digital chips for home games.

By accessing or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. If you use the service on behalf of a company, association or casino, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. No real-money gambling

Pokerverket provides administrative and technical tools only. We do not organise gambling, accept wagers, handle deposits or withdrawals, transfer money between players or pay out winnings. All amounts shown in the service (buy-in, rebuys, prize pool, payouts, chip chop) are calculation inputs you enter yourself.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your activity complies with applicable gambling laws, licensing requirements, tax rules and other local regulations. Organising real-money gambling may require a licence in your jurisdiction. Always verify what applies to you before using the service.

3. Age requirement

The service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not target children and do not knowingly collect data about persons under 18.

4. Accounts

Parts of the service can be used without an account, with data stored locally in your browser. Features such as statistics, casinos, calendar and registrations require an account.

  • Player account: identified by a player handle (e.g. Name#123) and a password.
  • Casino account: identified by an email address, password and a casino name, and can administer members, schedules and tournaments.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account.
  • Keep your password confidential. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and contact us.
  • An account is personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred without our approval.

5. Casinos, memberships and registrations

Players may apply for membership in one or more casinos. The casino owner independently decides whether to approve or reject an application and may end a membership at any time.

When you register for a tournament, your player handle and registration are shared with the organiser. A registration in the service is not a binding agreement with the organiser unless the organiser states otherwise, and does not guarantee a seat. The organiser is solely responsible for running the tournament, its rules, fees and payouts.

As a casino owner you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you publish (times, buy-in, structure, venues) and for how you handle your members’ data.

6. Results and statistics

Results can be reported and must be approved by the player concerned before they count towards that player’s statistics. Reported results are stamped with the identity of the signed-in user. Statistics in the service are informational, may contain errors, and do not constitute accounting or tax records.

  • You may only report results that genuinely reflect a played event. Deliberate misreporting is grounds for suspension.
  • A player may reject a result. Rejected results are not counted and may be deleted.
  • We do not mediate disputes about whether a result is correct; that is settled between the player and the organiser.
  • You are solely responsible for any tax reporting of winnings and losses.

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you enter, such as tournament names, player names, structures, notes and results. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process and display that content solely to provide, back up, troubleshoot and improve the service for you and the users you share it with.

You confirm that you are entitled to enter the content and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or privacy. If you enter data about other people, you are responsible for informing them as required and for having a legal basis for the processing.

We do not pre-screen content, but we may remove or hide content that is unlawful, clearly incorrect, offensive or in breach of these terms. If you voluntarily provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without compensation.

8. Unacceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service for illegal activity, fraud, money laundering or unlicensed gambling
  • submit offensive, threatening, hateful or unlawful content
  • attempt to bypass security, authorisation checks or access restrictions
  • scrape, bulk-harvest or load the service with automated requests beyond normal use
  • decompile, reverse engineer or copy the service’s code except where expressly permitted by law
  • impersonate another player, organiser or us
  • resell or sublicense the service without a written agreement

9. Availability, changes and operations

The service is provided as is and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, add, limit or remove features at any time, and may need to perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We aim to give advance notice of major changes where reasonable.

10. Data, backups and local storage

Some tournament data is stored in your browser’s local storage. Clearing browser data, switching devices or using private browsing may cause it to be lost. You are responsible for exporting or otherwise safeguarding data that matters to you. We give no guarantee that lost data can be recovered.

11. Personal data and analytics

How we process personal data and voluntary, anonymised usage statistics is described in our privacy policy. All analytics measurement requires your active consent and can be withdrawn at any time.

Read the privacy policy

12. Pricing and payment

The service is currently free of charge. If paid features are introduced, prices, payment terms, billing period and any right of withdrawal will be clearly stated before you order, and features you already use will not change without notice.

13. Intellectual property

The service, its source code, design, graphics, the Pokerverket brand and other materials belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service under these terms. No other rights are transferred.

14. Third-party services

The service runs with the help of subprocessors for hosting, database and authentication. We are not responsible for content on external sites we link to, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

15. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or that calculations, clock, blind levels, prize pool, chip chop or hand analysis are error-free. You are responsible for verifying results before relying on them in a real tournament.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profit, lost data, incorrect payouts, interrupted tournaments or claims between players and organisers. Our total liability is in any event limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, or SEK 1,000 if nothing was paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, such as gross negligence or intent.

16. Indemnity

You agree to hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from your use of the service, your content, your event or your breach of these terms or of law.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, abuse, security reasons or where required by law. On termination, content linked to the account may be deleted after a reasonable period, except data we must retain by law.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example for new features or changed legislation. The latest version is always published on this page with a date. Material changes will be announced in the service where reasonable. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the new version.

19. Governing law and disputes

Swedish law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are primarily settled by the Swedish general courts. If you are a consumer, you always retain the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, and you may turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or the EU online dispute resolution platform.

20. Miscellaneous

  • If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions are unaffected.
  • Our failure to enforce a right immediately is not a waiver of it.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a business transfer.
  • In case of discrepancy between the Swedish and English text, the Swedish text prevails.

21. Digital chips and play mode

Play mode (/play) and the digital chips are an aid for home games without real money. Chips have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, redeemed or transferred for consideration, and are not a means of payment or a financial service.

Cards are shuffled using cryptographic randomness in the browser or on the server depending on mode. We do not guarantee that play mode is free from errors, interruptions or delays, or that an interrupted hand can be restored. Do not use play mode as the basis for money settlements.

22. Hand review, quiz and strategy tools

Hand review, pot odds, equity calculations, chip chop and similar tools are simplified models for educational purposes. They do not account for every variable in a real game and must not be treated as advice, guarantees or definitive answers. Decisions you make based on them are at your own risk.

23. Prize pool, chip chop and deals

Prize pool, payout structure, rebuys, add-ons and chip chop calculations are based entirely on the figures you enter. We do not verify them and are not a party to any deal between players. If the service’s calculation differs from what the players agreed, the players’ agreement and the organiser’s decision always prevail.

24. Tournament rules and organiser responsibility

The service contains no official rulebook. The tournament director (TD) always has the final say on rules, disqualifications, misdeals, clock errors and seating. The service’s clock, blind levels, breaks and table balancing are aids that may deviate from reality, for example during power loss, lost network connectivity, a closed tab or when several devices are open at the same time.

25. Technical requirements

The service requires a modern browser, JavaScript enabled and, for some features, a working internet connection. Installed as an app (PWA), parts may work offline, but synchronisation, sign-in and shared views require connectivity. You are responsible for your own equipment, updates and connection costs.

26. Display view and shared screens

Display mode is intended to be shown publicly. Information you enter — player names, amounts and placements — may therefore be visible to everyone in the venue and to anyone photographing or streaming the screen. Do not enter sensitive personal data in fields shown in the display view.

27. Support and communication

Support is provided as time permits by email, with no promised response time or service level. We may send operational notices, security notices and information about material changes to these terms to the email address linked to your account. Such messages are part of the service and cannot be opted out of while you hold an account.

28. Beta and preview features

Some features may be released as beta, preview or experiments. They may be incomplete, change significantly or be removed without notice, and data created in them may be lost. They are provided without any warranty whatsoever.

29. Dormant accounts, inactivity and deletion

Accounts inactive for a long period may be deleted after we have attempted to contact you, unless we are required to retain the data. If you lose access to your player handle or email, we cannot always restore the account, since we have no other way of verifying your identity.

30. Export and portability

Where the service offers export, you can download your tournament and results data in a machine-readable format. We do not guarantee that the export format remains unchanged over time or is compatible with other systems.

31. Force majeure

We are not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as power outages, outages at an internet or cloud provider, cyber attacks, government decisions, labour disputes, war, fire or natural events.

32. Sanctions and export control

You confirm that you are not subject to sanctions and that you do not use the service from a country or in a manner that violates applicable sanctions or export control rules.

33. Entire agreement and language

These terms together with the privacy policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service and replace prior statements on the subject. The terms exist in Swedish and English; in case of discrepancy, the Swedish version prevails.

34. Contact

If you have questions about these terms, want to report abuse or a security issue, or request deletion of your account, contact us. We respond as soon as we can, normally within 30 days.
